Man Identified by Officials after He Was Found Dead in Marina del Rey

Marina del Ray, California: Soon after a woman was discovered dead on a boat in Marina del Rey, a man was discovered dead inside a car by the authorities.

The officials have identified the man and the details are also revealed to the public. The office of Medical Examiner has identified the man as Kelvin Nelson Jr.

Nelson, 33, committed suicide after strangling himself to death, as per the department. The identity of the woman is not disclosed by the police.

Lt. Steven De Jong stated that at 11:12 a.m. on Thursday, deputies from the Marina del Rey Sheriff’s Station were called to the 14000 block of Tahiti Way, which is close to Via Marina, for a welfare check at a boat in the marina where they discovered the woman’s body.

A community member who knew the residents of the boat informed the Los Angeles Police Department about a car parked close by on the 100 block of Via Marina during their investigation.

Inside, they discovered the body, which is now officially identified as Nelson’s, according to the authorities. There are no suspects, according to investigators.
