Man Found Dead in Watsessing Park Identified by Authorities

New Jersey: A man was found dead in a park in New Jersey on Thursday after the locals reported the police about the body.

The man is identified as Frank Vergilio. He was a resident of East Orange. The man was identified on Friday evening. His age as per the records is 68.

The police are investigating the incident. The body was found in a creek at Watsessing Park in East Orange.

According to a joint statement from the office and Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens II, officers from the Essex County Sheriff’s Office were called to the Park at 5:38 p.m. regarding a report of a body in the creek.

His cause of death is under investigation, and an autopsy’s findings are awaited. The police urge everyone to come forward if they have any information regarding the incident.
