Man Found Dead in MacArthur Park identified by Authorities
Los Angeles: A dead body was found floating in a lake in MacArthur Park at 2 pm. Locals called the cops and the officials pronounced him dead at the spot.
The Rampart Division of the LAPD and firemen reached the crime scene. Police secured the crime scene and fetched the body out of the lake.
The identity of the deceased was not confirmed at the crime scene. After an investigation by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s office, the person is identified as Jose Herrera Jr.
He was 42 when he died as per his documents. The cause of death is still unknown. The investigation by the LAPD has started and anyone with relevant information is asked to assist the authorities.
