Man Choked Pregnant Girlfriend when She Took His Phone Away as He was Watching Other Girls; Man Arrested by Miami Authorities
A man from Miami was taken into custody on Monday and is now receiving charges of aggravated abuse. He abused his pregnant girlfriend according to the records.
After his partner became furious because he was “watching other girls on his phone,” Leovany Lima, who is 29 years old, assaulted her. The woman is currently four months pregnant.
The police complaint states that Lima assaulted his partner. Before Lima could get on top of her and start choking her as she pulled his phone away from him.
In an effort to defend herself, the pregnant woman scratched Lima on the torso, according to the police. She stated that she had begun to bleed vaginally as per WSVN News.
The Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center is where Lima is being kept at the moment, and his bond has not yet been determined. The victim, who was pregnant at the time, is receiving medical attention.
