Man accused of Grooming 15-year-old girl, Arrested after Parents find Explicit Messages on phone in Houston
Houston, TX: A man was arrested by the authorities after the parents of a teenage girl gave evidence to the police that he was grooming their teenage daughters for s*xual relations.
Police in Harris County announced that the man had confessed to soliciting sexual relations with the teen girl, leading to the filing of charges against him.
The man is identified as 50-year-old Jason Detenbeck and he is charged with online solicitation of a minor.
According to officials, the Criminal Investigative Division of Constable Mark Herman launched a thorough investigation following parental concerns about their 15-year-old child’s internet interactions with an adult man.
The location of Detenbeck in the Galveston County area was eventually determined by authorities.
According to officials, an arrest warrant was issued after the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office accepted a single allegation of online solicitation of a minor.
A bond of $80,000 was eventually posted to free Detenbeck from custody as per Fox26 Houston.
