Largest Meth Bust in Orlando, Man Arrested with Meth, Cocaine, Fentanyl and Cash

Orlando, FL: The Middle District of Florida State Attorney’s Office said during a news conference on Friday that the most significant methamphetamine bust in the history of Orlando had led to the confiscation of 150 pounds of methamphetamine, numerous pressed pills, cocaine, firearms, and a sum of $700,000.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) reported that officers confiscated 150 pounds of methamphetamine, several kilograms of cocaine, and various other substances, including fentanyl, along with $700,000. These items were purportedly owned by George Andrew Pherai-Bogeajis, a 35-year-old resident of Orlando.

On April 9, a federal search warrant was carried out at the residences of Pherai-Bogeajis, situated in Orlando and Ocoee.

At the Orlando residence, DEA officers seized 150 pounds of methamphetamine and more than 100,000 crushed tablets. According to police, they also seized 3 kilograms of cocaine, four firearms, and more than $700,000 in “drug proceeds.”

Upon conducting a search of the Ocoee residence, law enforcement officials uncovered a substantial quantity of pressed pills, 10 kg of marijuana, and two vehicles equipped with concealed compartments. Pherai-Bogeajis was absent from both residences but was apprehended and placed under federal detention.

According to the DOJ, Pherai-Bogeajis is subject to a potential sentence of life imprisonment in federal prison due to the nature of the offenses.
