LAPD Cop Hit by Driver at a Traffic Stop, reversed his Car to Injure and Evade the cops in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA: A Los Angeles Police Department officer sustained injuries after an alleged driver crashed his car during a traffic stop in the city.
The officer, with other LAPD officers, was conducting a traffic stop when they stopped the car.
The incident happened at approximately 11:15 a.m. at a traffic check at 45th and Wall Streets, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The driver was apprehended on Friday after the crash.
“The driver deliberately put the car in reverse and hit one of the officers,” police stated late Friday morning on X (previously Twitter). “There is perimeter and the driver has fled the scene of the crime. Just one cop was taken to the hospital.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the individual in question was apprehended early Friday afternoon; however, their identity remained unknown.
The officer was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. The injuries were not life-threatening and the officer sustained his injuries. The officer, as of now, is reported to be in stable condition as per the authorities.
The authorities have not disclosed the identity of the officer. It was also unclear to which hospital he was taken to for treatment.
