LA Man Shot In a Barbershop, Pronounced Dead at the Hospital

A man was shot inside an East Los Angeles barbershop. The incident happened on Wednesday. The victim died due to fatal injuries. A homicide investigation is now in progress.

Just after 5:40 p.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a shooting, so deputies were dispatched to the 1200 block of Atlantic Avenue.

When the deputies arrived, they found a man with what appeared to be upper torso gunshot wounds. After being brought to a nearby hospital, he was declared deceased.

According to the investigation, the victim was inside a barbershop when the suspect entered and started shooting. The last thing that was observed was the suspect and another person sprinting south on Atlantic Avenue.

The victim is a Hispanic male around 20-25 years of age. No further details about the victim are released by the police.

The police are searching for the suspects and there are no arrests so far.
