Authorities have accused a Kentucky teacher of encouraging a youngster to kill her husband.
Elena Bardin, 27, is currently in arrest and faces various accusations after being investigated by Kentucky State Police officers.
According to the KSP, the inquiry began after a routine search of a boy’s room at the Adair Juvenile Detention Center revealed “letters and explicit material” allegedly provided to the youngster by a facility teacher.
Detectives now suspect the material was delivered by Bardin, a teacher at the detention center at the time.
The KSP claims that, in addition to encouraging the male juvenile to kill her spouse, evidence “also revealed that Ms. Bardin had subjected the juvenile to illegal sexual contact and provided him with sexually explicit images of herself.”
The KSP reports that Bardin was detained on Wednesday and is currently being held at the Adair County Detention Center.
She is charged with murder (solicitation), first-degree sexual abuse, and dissemination of obscene materials to minors.
There is no available evidence that anyone died as a result of the purported solicitation.
KSP’s investigation is still underway, and the young guy has not yet been charged with a crime.
