Kentucky Drug Bust Leads to 25 Arrests Across Knox and Laurel County
Laurel County, KY: Over 25 individuals have been apprehended in a significant narcotics bust operation in Laurel and Knox counties.
The Laurel County Drug Interdiction Task Force members have been collaborating for several months to address the drug issue across county borders, as stated by authorities.
Some investigations led to the arrest of 27 persons, the confiscation of more than one pound of methamphetamine, and the breakup of a narcotics trafficking operation in Knox County this week.
Jaysa Engle- 19 years old from Barbourville, KY, was arrested on Coal Port Road near Artemus and charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree/methamphetamine. Was found in possession of two plastic bags and a pill bottle containing suspected methamphetamine.
Joseph W Holt- 34, from Artemus, KY, was arrested on Coal Port Road in Artemus and charged with two charges of Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree involving methamphetamine. Two transparent plastic bags and a pill bottle containing suspected methamphetamine were discovered in his hands during the arrest. He was subsequently accused of a third allegation of Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree.
Jamesmax R Herren- 36, from Corbin, KY, was arrested on Old Lynn Camp School Road in Corbin and charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree involving methamphetamine.
Charles Fields- 41, from London, KY, was apprehended at his home on a Knox County Bench Warrant for not showing up in court for a Possession of a Controlled Substance-2nd Degree charge.
Eric Wilson- 41, from Corbin, KY, was arrested at this residence on a Whitley County Bench Warrant for a Contempt of Court charge.
Josh Messer- 41, from Barbourville, KY, was arrested on Pitzer Street in Barbourville and charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree involving methamphetamine.
Larry Tyler Hammons-28 years old from Manchester, KY, was arrested on KY 2418 near Barbourville and charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree/methamphetamine. Charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana possession.
Jamerson Cannon, 25 years old from Dayton, OH, was arrested in Barbourville on KY 2418 and charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree involving methamphetamine. Charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana possession.
Tyler Ross, 24 years old from Troy, OH, was arrested in Barbourville on KY 2418 and charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree involving methamphetamine. Charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
John Messer, 30, is facing charges of trafficking methamphetamine.
Joseph Baker, 50, has been accused with trafficking methamphetamine, a restricted narcotic.
William Freeman, 58, has been charged with trafficking and possession of methamphetamine.
Franklin, 64, was charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Stacy Dooley, 47, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Timothy Rader, 59, was charged with wanton endangerment for possessing a pistol as a convicted felon.
41-year-old Kenneth Miller has been charged with trafficking methamphetamine.
Sheila Campbell, 48, has been charged with trafficking methamphetamine, a restricted narcotic.
Beatrice Eversole, 50, has been charged with selling methamphetamine and being a habitual felony offender.
Lindsey Gadd, 34, has been charged with possession of prohibited substances including heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine.
Lucy Hammons, 49, has been accused with selling methamphetamine.
Erica Fox, 38, is facing charges for possessing methamphetamine, a controlled narcotic.
Cody Deaton, 25, is facing charges of trafficking in a controlled narcotic, specifically carfentanyl or fentanyl, and possession of marijuana.
John Richards, 38, has been charged with trafficking over 2 grams of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and being a habitual felony offender.
Larry Hubbard, 49, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Duncan Groenewald, 25, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.
Wesley Croley Jr., 36, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Jerry Lowe, 44, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, specifically methamphetamine, and possession of marijuana.
Larry Hammons, Jamerson Cannon, and Tyler Ross were found in possession of around one pound of suspected methamphetamine and a plastic bag containing around three ounces of marijuana, according to authorities.
All the individuals mentioned were detained at either the Knox County Detention Center or the Laurel County Detention Center.
Task force officers, Laurel County Deputies, London Police Department Officers, Knox County Sheriff’s Deputies, and DEA agents collaborated to arrest persons involved in narcotics trafficking in Knox and Laurel County.
