Juvenile Who Punched Elder to Rob Him Arrested by NYPD, Other 2 Suspects on Large

The ruthless mugging of a 76-year-old man in the Bronx over the weekend resulted in the arrest of a 13-year-old kid, according to police.

Because he is young, the teen’s name was withheld by the police when they apprehended him on Monday night. He is accused of robbery for the callous assault on the guy in the Kingsbridge Heights community, who is almost six times his age.

Early on Sunday morning, the victim was strolling along Webb and Sedgwick Avenues when the child approached him on a moped together with two other juvenile-looking criminals, according to the police.
According to police, one of the children punched the elder in the head, sending him to the ground.

After searching through the old man’s pockets, the three of them took his cell phone, smashing it on the pavement and breaking the screen, according to the police.

First responders treated the man for a cut on his head and headache pain, according to the police.
As of right now, the young person’s alleged accomplices remain at large.
