Miami Standard (Lake County, FL) – Three women lost their lives, and another was critically injured in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
The fatal accident occurred around 3:16 a.m. on State Road 19, just south of Saint Florian Lane. Authorities say a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee, traveling northbound, veered off the road after the driver failed to navigate a left-hand curve.
The vehicle, driven by a 30-year-old woman from Mount Dora, carried three passengers—women aged 32, 28, and 26, all from Eustis. The SUV struck a pole on the right shoulder and flipped multiple times, ejecting all four occupants, according to FHP.
