Indiana Man Arrested after Several Victims Reported that He Brutally Molested Kids after Luring Them Using Treats: Police Say
Allegations have surfaced that a dangerous criminal used sweets to manipulate and exploit innocent children for his own perverse desires, as reported by the victims.
A 41-year-old man from Anderson, Kevin E. Germain Jr., was taken into custody on June 28. He is facing several preliminary charges, including child molestation, which is classified as a Level 1 felony, and sexual misconduct with a minor, classified as a Level 4 felony.
Based on court documents, the Anderson Police Department and the Department of Child Services initiated an investigation into Germain following allegations made by two juveniles. The juveniles accused Germain of engaging in molestation and rape over an extended period of time.
Based on the victim’s allegations, Germain allegedly used candy as a means of bribing one of the victims during their childhood between the ages of 11 and 15. Germain would then coerce the victim into engaging in sexual acts with him.
Another victim has come forward, revealing the extent of Germain’s sexual abuse. According to the victim, the abuse began when they were just 7 years old and continued for years until Germain’s arrest.
The victims reported that Germain emphasized the importance of keeping his actions a secret, as he was determined to avoid returning to jail.
According to court records, Germain was found guilty in 2011 of committing battery with a deadly weapon, which caused serious injury. A four-year prison sentence was handed down to him.
According to recently uncovered documents, Germain vehemently denied the allegations made against him by the victims, asserting that he never engaged in any inappropriate sexual behavior with either child.
The Madison County Prosecutor’s Office is currently reviewing the case to determine whether any charges will be filed against Germain as reported by Wane News.
If found guilty of a Level 1 felony of child molestation, Germain could face a maximum prison sentence of 50 years.
