Hyde Park Street Takeover under Investigation after Jeep set ablaze in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA: During the weekend’s disorderly street takeover in Hyde Park, a Jeep was doused in gasoline and subsequently set on fire.
A man poured gasoline all over the Jeep, even under the hood, and then the automobile burst into flames, as shown in the video.
A second vehicle spins around the burning Jeep as dozens of spectators watch from the other side of the crossing.
On Saturday, just before 3:20 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department reported that the street takeover occurred at the junction of 63rd Street and Crenshaw Boulevard.
A video has been posted on X by ABC news network that shows some people dousing Jeep with gasoline and then setting it on fire.

According to authorities, more than 50 vehicles were present at the scene. Police also suspect that many of the vehicles have been carjacked or stolen.
As soon as the police arrived at the Hyde Park Street Takeover, the crowd scattered. No arrest has been made in the matter.
The Los Angeles Police Department has started an investigation looking into the matter.
The footage of the incident has been shared on social media and is currently being investigated by the police.
