Homeless Florida Man Stole Car and Rammed it into Jail Lobby; Arrested Wearing Women’s Clothing and No Pants
An individual in Florida, who was homeless and wearing women’s clothes, intentionally drove a vehicle through the jail, with authorities stating that the person expressed a desire to “kill everyone.”
A car crashed through the doors of the Martin County Jail lobby on Tuesday night, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office. Photographs released by the sheriff’s office depict a Toyota vehicle partially lodged within the jail structure, its doors forcefully torn away.
Following the accident, Leedy emerged from the vehicle donning a blouse typically associated with women, without wearing any pants. Reports suggest that he poured motor oil on the floor and expressed a desire to ignite it.
“According to authorities, he made disturbing statements about police officers and expressed violent intentions, causing a chaotic scene as he threw rubber snakes on the floor and engaged in altercations with deputies and fire rescue personnel.”
The crash resulted in significant damage to the building, with the car managing to penetrate only halfway. There were no individuals present in the lobby at that moment.
Leedy was apprehended and transported to a hospital where he displayed uncooperative behavior, according to authorities. He was subsequently returned to jail.
The individual is facing charges of four counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and criminal mischief exceeding $1,000.
