Heated Argument in Chicago led to Shooting; Three Suspects Attacked a Man; Victim Retaliated with Gunshots after They Slammed His Head in Family Yard

An incident occurred on Friday night in Chicago where a concealed carry license holder defended himself by shooting three men from his front yard on the Northwest Side.
All four individuals were admitted to the hospital in a critical condition following a heated dispute that escalated into a shooting incident.
The incident occurred shortly before 11:30 in the 4700 block of West Wrightwood Avenue in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood.
A 43-year-old man was attacked by three men in front of his home, according to Chicago police. The individual involved, who possessed a concealed carry license, utilized a handgun to defend themselves and neutralize the threat posed by the three individuals.
According to neighbors, the victim resides in close proximity to the individuals who reportedly assaulted him, and the incident occurred amidst a gathering.
Footage captured at the location reveals numerous individuals being transported on stretchers by medical professionals, while a significant presence of Chicago Police can be observed.
An item was found at the location.
All four individuals were transported to hospitals in critical condition.
The victim sustained severe injuries to the head and body and was rushed to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
A 29-year-old man sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and was transported to Mt. Sinai. Two individuals were injured in a shooting incident – one with a chest injury and the other with a neck injury. Both individuals were transported to Illinois Masonic Hospital. All three individuals were in critical condition.
According to Andres Salgado, a relative of the victim, he and his family are highly regarded.
“He is a diligent individual. He’s constantly involved in his children’s activities, from baseball games to practices. It’s clear that family is a priority for him, especially considering his wife’s profession as a teacher. “They are a highly regarded family,” he remarked.
According to Salgado, there have been recent issues with the residents of the neighboring home.
