Hammer-Wielding Driver Injures 2 in a Road Rage Incident in Queens; Suspect at Large
New York City: The authorities say that a man with a hammer attacked two people in New York City on Monday night.
The incident seems to be a pure case of road rage. He injured two persons with the hammer.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. EST in the Jackson Heights district of Queens. The victims are a male, 29, and a female, 22.
As per the victims, they were driving home when they got into a verbal fight with the alleged man between 93rd Street and 37th Avenue.
The victims were sent to the hospital to receive medical attention. Both the woman and the male suffered physical injuries, particularly to the head.
The brutal hammer-wielding driver is still at large. The officers are looking for the suspect.
NYPD urges anyone with the information to come forward and inform the police about the incident and whereabouts of the driver.
