Florida Cops Chased Man Driving over 140 MPH; Arrested after Dramatic Chase that Ended at a Store in Lake Mary

A man was apprehended by the Florida Highway Patrol on Wednesday following a pursuit that concluded inside a home goods business in Lake Mary. The pursuit persisted until it arrived at the store.

A driver was observed by state troopers traveling east on Interstate 4 around mile marker 82 at speeds exceeding 140 miles per hour, according to a statement released by the agency. The driver has been identified as Mohamed Nour Jebokji, aged 34.

During the incident, Jebokji reportedly fled the scene and later exited Interstate 4 at Lake Mary Boulevard. Later, he made his way to the parking lot of At Home and entered the store, as reported by the customers who were there.

Law enforcement officers located him and took him into custody, bringing him to the Seminole County Jail.

The authorities have launched an investigation to look into the matter that led the man to drive at such a reckless speed. Also, the authorities will test the man for drugs to rule out any possibility of Driving under the Influence of alcohol or any other drugs.
