Fentanyl and Heroin Found Under Mattress: 3 Man Arrested by the Authorities
Chevy Ramsey, a resident of Marion County, is facing charges of possession with intent to deliver after foil parcels containing heroin and fentanyl were discovered under a mattress during a search of his house.
Marion County’s Paw Paw Manor home was the subject of numerous drug accusations, prompting police to respond.
After speaking with the resident, who verified certain facts of the complaints, authorities were able to search the residence and learn that three other persons were present at the time.
According to court records, the three other occupants of the house—Chevrolet Ramsey and two other individuals not mentioned in the report—were taken into custody by the police as they started their search.
When detectives searched the bedroom where Ramsey was discovered, they allegedly discovered many foil parcels containing heroin and fentanyl as well as digital scales.
Reports from the site indicated that when the police arrived, Ramsey had pushed the items beneath the mattress.
Police said the white oval tablets with the marking “L484” they discovered in the same spot. Chevy Ramsey is detained in the county jail on several charges of drug trafficking.
