Fatal Crash near Cleburne Took 6 Lives and Forces Road Closure
Cleburne, Texas: Authorities reported that a “multiple fatality accident” in Johnson County claimed the lives of six persons.
Portions of U.S. Highway 67 were closed after the accident. The accident happened on Tuesday night.
The Texas Department of Public Safety’s William Lockridge said that the fatal collision has caused the highway between County Roads 1234 and 1120 to be closed.
As per the authorities, three victims were transported to the Fort Worth Hospital. The location of the collision is about ten miles southwest of Cleburne.
“Please say a prayer for the families of the deceased and injured. Also, please pray for our Deputies, Troopers and all other first responders working this accident. It’s a devastating scene and very emotional for all involved.”
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post.
On social media, the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office reported about the collision and urged motorists to stay away from the scene. There will be a road closure for a few hours.
Once the victims’ families have been informed, the identities will be made public.
The authorities have launched an investigation to find the cause of the crash. Eyewitnesses are urged to come forward and inform the police regarding the accident.
