Fatal Crash Claimed 1 Life & Injured 3 in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, California: On Christmas Day, a car collision in South Los Angeles claimed one life and injured three people.

The accident involved 2 cars and happened on December 25 just after 10:40 p.m. The accident site is close to the intersection of Compton Avenue and E. 82nd Place, according to police.

Cell phone footage of the scene showed two completely wrecked and destroyed cars. According to the police, one car crossed the center line, struck the other, and caught fire.

A passenger was inside the car when the emergency responders first arrived and needed to be freed. Severely injured, that individual was taken to the hospital along with two others. All of them are in critical care.

According to one eyewitness, the crash was very bad. The witness said, “It was a loud crash. It was pretty much demolished. It was pretty bad. It was all just torn up.”

According to authorities, both drivers were in their 30s, but none of the crash’s victims have been named. As per the authorities, the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

The authorities have launched a probe to find the cause of the accident. The police have not ruled out the possibility of DUI.
