Farmingville Man Arrested in New York For Running Breaking-Bad Style Drug Making Lab
New York: A man from Farmingville confessed to producing methamphetamine and other illegal substances at his company, Quantitative Laboratories, LLC, in Ronkonkoma, as stated by Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney on Thursday.
Matthew Leshinsky, 23, admitted to third-degree illegal production of methamphetamine and other associated offenses in relation to the drug raid, Tierney stated.
Tierney stated in a news release that the defendant was running a drug lab similar to the one in the TV show “Breaking Bad” and attempted to hide it by pretending it was a legal business. “He unintentionally incriminated himself by reporting a burglary at the same business.”

Tierney expressed gratitude to the Suffolk County police officers for promptly detecting evidence of a hidden drug lab during their initial visit to the business, as well as to the prosecutors from the DA Office and other law enforcement personnel. The District Attorney stated that Leshinsky will face consequences for distributing dangerous medicines in Suffolk County.
Leshinsky contacted 911 around 3:30 a.m. on June 7 to report an ongoing burglary at his business, according to detectives.
Officers from the Fifth Precinct of the Suffolk County Police Department discovered shattered glass at the lab’s entrance, according to officials. During the investigation, the officers found a clandestine laboratory engaged in the production of methamphetamine, dimethyltryptamine (DMT), and other controlled substances.
Law enforcement acquired a search warrant and discovered over 100 pieces of laboratory equipment, chemical reagents, and solvents utilized in the manufacturing of methamphetamine, along with compounds produced during the process, according to prosecutors.
Police found $40,000 in cash, MDMA (ecstasy), over 3 ounces of methamphetamine, over 625,000 milligrams of pure ketamine, and over 20 plastic 55-gallon drums containing Gamma-butyrolactone (GBL), a substance similar to Gamma hydroxybutyric acid (GHB), commonly known as the “date rape drug.”
Leshinsky admitted guilt on multiple drug-related charges, including possession, manufacturing, and reckless endangerment.
Leshinsky will appear in court for sentencing on March 20.
