Family Members Found Dead In Texas Home; Police Suspect Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
Seagoville, TX: Video footage captures the chilling cries just before emergency personnel arrived at a residence in Seagoville. Inside the garage, the lifeless bodies of 27-year-old Lyric Backus and her 7-year-old son, Deuce, were discovered.
The family of Backus suspects that carbon monoxide poisoning was the cause of death. Authorities are currently awaiting the results of autopsies before providing confirmation.
Loggins’ home surveillance cameras recorded the commotion on Friday morning. He had just returned from his morning jog.
Deuce attended Seagoville North Elementary as a first-grader.
On Monday, the school reached out to parents through a letter, expressing their condolences and offering support to the family. They also mentioned that counselors will be available on campus to assist students and staff during this difficult time.
