Drugs Over $1 Million Street Value Busted Along With Cash, Guns, and Car With 14 Arrests: Jacksonville Sheriff
Jacksonville, Florida: According to Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters “Operation Players Club” is a success. Law enforcement from Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia collaborated for five months to bust and dismantle five drug trafficking organizations.
Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters informed the public about the success of the operation. 14 significant traffickers were apprehended as a result of “Operation Players Club,” according to Waters, and 13 more had outstanding warrants.
The officers conducted a lengthy investigation that spanned from June to November. The police stated the investigation after drug abuse reports of methamphetamine and fentanyl showed a steep rise in the area.
The biggest suppliers of methamphetamine and fentanyl became the focus of police attention. Paul Anderson, one of the accused traffickers, is being prosecuted at the federal level, according to Waters.
The police also busted a large amount of drugs, cash, and other items. The breakdown of the confiscated items is as follows:
- 2023 Dodge Charger.
- 26 Firearms including ghost guns.
- $293,273 in cash (US Currency).
- 118.53 pounds of meth ($663,768 street value).
- 12.5 kilos of MDMA ($99,000 street value).
- 7.5 kilos of powder cocaine ($150,000 street value).
- 164.10 grams of crack cocaine ($16,000 street value).
- 2.25 kilos fentanyl ($121,500 street value).
- 13.58 pounds of marijuana ($40,740 street value).
The identities of the arrested suspects have not been revealed by the authorities. Waters said that he was proud of his team and all the other departments that collaborated on this operation.
Even though “our community will not be able to solely arrest its way out of a narcotics problem,” according to Waters, law enforcement will nevertheless vigorously execute the laws.
