Drug Bust in West Virginia; 82 Indicted By DOJ

A grand jury has indicted a total of 82 individuals from West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland. These individuals are believed to be involved in a drug trafficking operation that operated in West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle. The substances distributed by this ring include fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine.

In a recent press release, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) revealed the findings of their investigation, which included the discovery of 10 kilograms of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, firearms, and a significant amount of assets worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The indictment lists the individuals who have been charged with specific offenses.

According to the indictment, the following people were indicted on the following charges:

Gary Bernard Brown, Jr., aka Gee:

Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and to Distribute 400 Grams or More of a Fentanyl Mixture; Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and to Distribute Fentanyl, Acetyl Fentanyl, Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, Cocaine, and Cocaine Base; Distribution of Fentanyl Mixture.

Eric Garner, aka Pops:

Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and to Distribute 400 Grams or More of a Fentanyl Mixture; Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and to Distribute Fentanyl, Acetyl Fentanyl, Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, Cocaine, and Cocaine Base.

According to the DOJ, there are still 11 defendants out of the total 82 who have not been apprehended.
