Driver Crashes Into Jennifer Aniston’s Bel-Air Estate, Detained by Police

A man was caught on Monday afternoon after driving his car through the gates of Jennifer Aniston’s Bel-Air home, according to records from the police and the property. The owner was home when the crime took place, the cops say.

The Los Angeles Police Department got a call at 12:20 p.m. about a crash in the 900 block of Airole Way, according to Officer Tony Im. The person was on the ground and being held at gunpoint by a security guard when the police came.

The suspect, a man in his 20s, was reportedly arrested. It wasn’t clear right away if there were any fees for planning.

The 3.4-acre lot in Bel-Air is owned by Aniston, according to property records.

Arch Digest said that the “Morning Show” star, who is 56 years old, paid just under $21 million for the midcentury home in 2012. The well-known builder A. Quincy Jones planned and built the house in 1965. Frederick Fisher, an engineer, fixed it up right before Aniston bought it.

In 2012, The New York Times said that the block, which is on a point, has clear views of the city and ocean. Aniston bought it with a cottage, a pool, and grapes growing on the property.

The 2015 wedding took place at Aniston’s home and was small. She married actor Justin Theroux. A report from Architectural Digest says the couple lived in the house together before they split up in 2018.
