Driver at Large after Hit-and-Run in South Los Angeles
On Thursday, the South Los Angeles region authorities requested the public’s assistance in locating the hit-and-run driver who killed a pedestrian.
At approximately 6:30 p.m., paramedics were dispatched to Vernon and Western Avenues. The Los Angeles Police Department said that Tuesday brought the 42-year-old lady to the hospital, where she passed away.
The woman’s identity was not disclosed until her family was notified. The car that struck the woman was a white sedan.
Los Angeles has a standing reward program offering up to $50,000 for information leading to the investigation of a fatal hit-and-run.
