Price, Utah: A couple saved a drowning pup from a canal in Utah. The couple was strolling at the banks of the canal when they heard some weird noises coming from the water.

When they leaned to get a glimpse, they saw a dog desperately trying to save himself from drowning. The couple tried to save the dog, but all their efforts were in vain.

The couple was unable to access the dog on their own since a fence and barbed wire bordered the waterway. But they couldn’t just walk away from her. They promptly informed the neighborhood police agency that someone needed their assistance.

Captain Brandon Ratcliffe picked up the phone and found out what was going on and immediately reached the reported location.

Chica was lucky that Captain Brandon was able to quickly take her and transport her to safety.

She just didn’t want to be placed on the ground since she was so glad to have been saved. Chica wanted her savior to hold her.

After Chica was brought to the veterinarian, it turned out that she had been microchipped.

Upon finding her mother, she expressed how concerned for Chica’s safety she had spent the entire morning searching for her. She was incredibly appreciative of Captain Brandon for saving her young puppy.

Now, Chica is with her owner and is safe and sound. The owner was so relieved after getting Chica back.
