A Montgomery County resident is expressing gratitude to his neighbors for saving his dog from his burning house during the holidays. The neighbors are two college students.
The incident happened in Sandy Springs, Maryland. The house owner Tom Kennedy went to buy some last-minute things for Christmas dinner when the house caught fire.
Just before a deadly explosion, two college students who are home for the holidays showed bravery by jumping into the fire to save their neighbor’s dog.
The Kennedys face a year-long reconstruction after a fire on Christmas Eve, and the community comes together to support them.
The Fire Department was called immediately and the firefighters extinguished the fire shortly after reaching there. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
