Couple arrested in San Jose accused of 6 Robberies and Bank Heist while High on Drugs

San Diego, CA: The San Diego Police Department arrested a couple accused of 6 robberies across the Bay Area.

Brandon Lopez, 37, and Tamara Bush, 43, both from Antioch, are wanted by the police for a string of six alleged bank robberies or attempted robberies in the San Jose, Milpitas, Fremont, Modesto, and Sacramento areas.

The San Jose bank heist occurred on February 12 in the 500 block of West Capitol Expressway, according to the police.

The police say a male suspect went inside the bank, presented a note to the teller, and then demanded money. Over $1,000 in cash was absconded by the thief.

Lopez was named as the main suspect in the bank robbery by the San Jose police officers. Lopez was linked to five other bank robberies or attempted robberies as part of their investigation.

According to the authorities, Bush was the getaway driver in each of the six heists.

According to the authorities, Lopez’s Antioch house was searched on March 6. A loaded Glock handgun and ammunition were discovered by the authorities.

The Santa Clara County Main Jail was the site of Lopez’s and Bush’s arraignment on robbery charges, as reported by the police. They have other charges pending in several counties.
