Couple arrested in Louisiana after 6 Kids found loaded with Drugs by Deputies
Terrebonne Parish, LA: Authorities in Terrebonne Parish were alerted to possible narcotics activity at a residence in the 1100 block of Honduras Street on Monday, April 1, after receiving a tip about it.
An interagency investigation into suspected narcotics activity in Terrebonne Parish led to the arrest of a couple.
The house was searched by agents from the TPSO Narcotics Division, the TPSO Intelligence Unit, and the HPD Narcotics Unit.
Agents reported finding six children, aged four to twelve, who were reportedly left unattended by Anita Lynn Banks, thirty-one years old, and Kendall Alexander Maryland, thirty-two years old. The youngsters were reportedly removed from the residence by deputies.
A $155,000 bond is being used to hold both Maryland and Banks.
