Corolla Crashed Into Building After Flipping Over From a Ramp in San Francisco
San Francisco, CA: According to authorities, a Toyota Corolla plunged off the Interstate-80 Bay Bridge in San Francisco, slammed into a structure, and landed on a street below.
According to the California Highway Patrol San Francisco, the crash on Sunday night caused “extensive damage to the second and third floors” of the Clocktower Lofts building.
The California Highway Patrol posted photos of the damaged Toyota and broken loft windows. The tragic incident, according to CHP officials, is a good example of how seatbelts may save lives.

The driver lost control of the Toyota on the elevated offramp’s bend before colliding with a concrete jersey wall. The car smashed through the wall and into the building.
