Chrysler Hit Toyota and 5 Other Cars, Female Passenger Died in the Crash

Los Angeles, California: A woman lost her life in a catastrophic multi-vehicle accident in East Los Angeles. Her untimely demise left her family in grief.

The collision occurred near Olympic Blvd. and Vancouver Avenue on December 26. The time at which the accident happened is not known yet.

The deceased woman is identified as 21-year-old Evelyn Ortega Solis. She was a passenger in the car that caused the accident.

The driver of the Chrysler was driving at a great speed and hit a Toyota. Then the car passed the intersection and struck other 5 parked cars. All the cars were seriously damaged after the accident.

The Chrysler’s driver was arrested by the officers. The Toyota driver was taken to the hospital for urgent medical attention. The identities of the drivers are not disclosed by the police.

The specific cause of the incident is unknown, however officials suspect speed may have played a role.

As per the Califonia Highway Patrol, Solis was pronounced dead at the site of the crash and she was taken to the hospital for autopsy.

The authorities are looking into whether the driver was high on drugs or not. The probability of driving under influence is not ruled out completely.
