Car Hit Pedestrian in Chambersburg; Victim Airlifted to Hospital

Chambersburg, PA: A pedestrian was airlifted to a trauma facility after being hit by a car in Chambersburg. The crash happened on Jan. 16 at around 6:13 p.m. at an intersection.

A silver car slammed the man from behind as he crossed West Queen Street. Police said the car fled the scene. The victim’s condition is unknown as of now.

Officers say they have identified a suspect and intend to file criminal charges. They have not released the suspect’s name at this time. The authorities have not disclosed the victim’s identity as well.
