Blonde Madman on Stabbing Spree in Boston; Stabbed 4 Girls and 2 Adults at Two Separate Places: Authorities
A suspect has been apprehended by the police on Saturday following a series of separate attacks where six individuals, including four young girls aged 9 to 17, were stabbed. Massachusetts authorities believe that these incidents are likely connected.
Two girls were assaulted at a movie theater and were transported to Boston hospitals for treatment. The injuries they sustained were not life-threatening, as confirmed by the Braintree police. A 21-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man were injured in a stabbing incident at a Plymouth McDonald’s. They were promptly taken to hospitals for treatment and are expected to recover from their non-life-threatening injuries.
In a separate incident, Connecticut State Police have reported that a suspect connected to a death in the state has been apprehended in Massachusetts. Police in both states have not confirmed any connection between the Connecticut case and those in Massachusetts.
According to a news release from Braintree police, the two attacks occurred in separate towns, but there seems to be a connection between them. The four girls were unexpectedly stabbed in an AMC Theater around 6 p.m. According to an AMC employee, the theater was placed in lockdown shortly after the incident.
According to the police, the suspect launched a sudden and unprovoked attack, stabbing the four young females without any prior warning. The attack seemed to be without cause. Following the incident, the individual swiftly exited the theater and departed in a vehicle.
According to the release, authorities were able to determine that the suspect had fled the theater in a black SUV. Thanks to video footage, they were able to obtain the license plate number of the vehicle. According to the police, a vehicle that matches the description was allegedly involved in a similar assault in Plymouth, which is approximately a 30-minute drive south of Braintree.
Approximately one hour following the initial incident, at approximately 7:04 p.m., law enforcement responded to a reported stabbing at a McDonald’s in Plymouth, as stated in a news release by Massachusetts State Police.
According to state police, a vehicle matching the suspect’s description was promptly located by state troopers. However, despite their attempts to pull it over, the vehicle failed to stop. A vehicle chase led to a crash in Sandwich, Massachusetts, about a 25-minute drive south of Plymouth, as reported by the police.
The suspect was arrested after a hot chase that ended in a crash.
Connecticut State Police released a statement on Saturday, reporting that they were called to an address in the town due to a disturbance. Connecticut State Police have reported the discovery of an unidentified deceased individual.
The authorities have apprehended a suspect in Massachusetts, ensuring that there is no longer a danger to the public, according to a statement. The suspect was not identified.
Jason Ravizza, a 26-year-old resident of Martha’s Vineyard, is currently under suspicion in a murder investigation taking place in Connecticut.
