Bike and Cadillac Deadly Crash on PCH Claimed Rider’s Life
Malibu, California: A fatal car and motorcycle crash in Malibu resulted in the closure of a 2.5-mile section of the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH).
The crash happened around 6:00 p.m. near the 33400 block of PCH, south of Leo Carillo State Beach.
Law enforcement closed roadways between Mulholland Highway and Decker Road for investigation and cleanup following the collision.
The man in his 30s who was riding a motorcycle crashed to his death at the site after hitting a Cadillac Escalade that was pulling out of a driveway. The rider was going south on the PCH.

Emergency personnel arrived at the scene quickly after they were informed. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have opened an investigation into the event, even though it doesn’t seem like drinking or driving too fast contributed to the collision.
The identity of the deceased rider has not been disclosed. The authorities will reveal further information after the kin of the deceased are notified of the incident.
The closure for several hours caused major traffic disruptions in the neighborhood.
