Authorities Identified Shooter of Georgia Avenue-Petworth Station Incident

Washington: According to officials, the suspected gunman from the December 8 incident at the Georgia Avenue-Petworth Station has been identified by the Metro Transit Police Department.

According to authorities, Jaleel Fowler, 25, of Northwest D.C., is suspected of shooting a young boy in the Georgia Avenue-Petworth Station’s unpaid mezzanine level.

Officials said the youngster was brought to a hospital with injuries that didn’t seem to be life-threatening. According to authorities, a preliminary investigation revealed that Fowler had followed the minor into the station right before the incident.

The shooting happened on 8th December at around 2:45 pm when the suspect opened fire at the minor.

Presently, the authorities are looking for the suspect. Anyone aware of the suspect’s whereabouts can inform the police and assist in the arrest and indictment process.
