Arson Spree Woman Suspect on Radar of San Diego Police
San Diego, California: Detectives are looking for a woman accused of arson. The woman set fire to products inside a Target store and a gas pump in City Heights, causing over $10,000 worth of damage. The arson incident happened in late November.
According to the San Diego police, a woman set fire to a gas pump at an Am-Pm gas station on Home Avenue close to Interstate 805 in City Heights. The incident happened on November 22. Damage from the fire was estimated to be $10,000. Police claimed that later that day, the woman drove to the Mission Valley Target and allegedly set fire to many products. This second incident caused damage of over $700 to the store.
Sgt. Rick Pechin, a member of the Metro Arson Strike Team of San Diego police, stated that no more instances have been reported that are connected to the same offender.
The suspect is seen in a two-toned green Subaru Outback, according to investigators. The police are tracking the car that was recorded in the surveillance footage.
