Around 100 Pounds Marijuana Robbed at Gunpoint in Culver City
Culver City, California: A Culver City dispensary encountered an armed robbery on Wednesday night, stealing approximately 100 pounds of marijuana, according to police.
Two men wearing black ski masks and carrying handguns stepped out from a car on Robertson Boulevard just after 7:30 p.m., according to a news release from the Culver City Police Department. A man was unloading approximately 120 pounds of marijuana from a vehicle.
One of the robbers held the man at gunpoint and the other robber started grabbing the bags loaded with marijuana. They robbed around 100 pounds of cannabis, according to the police.
The police said, “The victim reported that he was unloading an estimated one hundred and twenty pounds of marijuana from a vehicle when two suspects exited a vehicle with handguns.”
A third robber was operating a silver Honda Accord. Both the robbers jumped into the car and they took off south on Robertson Avenue, according to the police.
According to descriptions, both men are around six feet tall and in their 20s or 30s. One suspect was wearing light-colored pants and a white hoodie with dark markings on the upper chest, and the other was wearing dark jeans and a black hoodie with white spots.
