Armed Carjacking, Assault and Robbery Spree Accused Teen Indicted in DC: DA
A teenager from the District has been indicted by a grand jury for their involvement in a string of violent crimes that caused significant unrest in the city during the previous summer.
16-year-old Zakyh Samuel from Washington D.C. has been indicted on 16 charges, which include armed carjacking, armed robbery, and assault with intent to rob while armed. These events were presented before the Honorable Jason Park on May 31, 2024. According to reports, individuals armed with firearms approached innocent victims and demanded their belongings before fleeing the scene.
