Arizona Cop and Michigan Woman Arrested in Child Pornography Case, Chat Reveals Pedophile Tendencies of both Individuals in Court

Phoenix, AZ: The Phoenix Police Department arrested a cop from its own Department and a Michigan woman is also apprehended.

The arrest was made last year but the identities of the arrested individuals were not released. New details have emerged after the case is presented in the court.

The arrested cop is identified as 41-year-old Alaa Robert Bartley by officials from the U.S. Attorney’s Office. The Michigan woman is identified as Sarah Elizabeth Chadwick.

Bartley and Chadwick allegedly engaged in role-play including talking about sexually explicit topics, where Bartley sometimes played the role of a police officer and [Chadwick] played the role of a minor age girl.

According to court documents, they messaged each other through WhatsApp between August 31, 2020, and February 17, 2022.

“During this approximate 17 months of communications between the two, [Chadwick] transmitted child pornography to Bartley on several occasions, and Bartley acknowledged receiving same,” an FBI agent said.

The detective brought up the fact that in November 2023, Chadwick was taken into custody on federal charges of possessing and distributing child pornography.

According to FBI officials, evidence retrieved from Chadwick’s phone about Bartley reveals that the two engaged in WhatsApp, Telegram, and Wickr conversations.

In court records, explicit details about Bartley and Chadwick’s conversations were detailed, including instances of what the FBI agent referred to as “substantive communications that covered the 17-month time period to show the ongoing nature of the communications expressing a sexual interest in children.”

According to court records, four search warrants were served on April 4 for various locations associated with Bartley, including his person, apartment, personal cars, and places of employment. An FBI inspector reportedly found 49,000 photos and 700 films in a secure folder on Bartley’s phone, with many of the photographs and videos labeled as CSAM.

The phone in question was allegedly used by Bartley to access pornographic content, as revealed by his wife in court records. It was also mentioned that Bartley’s wife was unaware of his suspected child pornographic viewing habits as per FOX10 Phoenix.

Bartley faces the possibility of a life sentence in jail, a fine, and supervised release if found guilty.
