Alert Homeowner Shot Home Invaders in Houston; Saved Family From Possible Burglary

Houston, Texas: Authorities report that individuals involved in an attempted home invasion in north Houston on Sunday night were met with an unpleasant surprise.

The incident occurred in the 6100 block of Caplin Street and Jensen Drive. According to the police, the homeowner was confronted by suspects who quickly entered the premises as he arrived at his driveway.

Unbeknownst to them, a family member happened to be present and witnessed the incident unfold. Reacting swiftly, they fired at the suspects, successfully striking one in the leg and arm.

Officers eventually discovered the suspect concealed in the vicinity. He was transported to the hospital in a serious yet stable condition.

The homeowners were not hurt in the incident.
