47-Year-Old Arrested in High Point Drug Bust: Large Stash of Fentanyl and Heroin Seized along with Cash

High Point, NC – A 47-year-old man was arrested last week after Forsyth County Drug Task Force detectives executed a search warrant and uncovered a significant quantity of fentanyl and heroin.

Authorities seized 200 grams of fentanyl, 140 grams of heroin, a 7 Series BMW, approximately $7,000 in cash, and gold jewelry from the scene.

According to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), as little as two milligrams of fentanyl can be fatal. The amount seized in this operation had the potential to cause 100,000 fatal overdoses.

The suspect, Scarborough Bish Albea, was taken into custody and charged with multiple felonies, including:

Felony Trafficking a Schedule I Substance
Felony Trafficking a Schedule II Substance
Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule I Substance
Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule II Substance
Felony Maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substances
Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Felon

Albea was booked into the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center under a $500,000 secured bond. Authorities continue to investigate the case.
