Sebastian Quintana owns the high-end streetwear business Kick Circuit in Kendall.
He informed Local 10 News that he believes he was being observed.
“They’re paying attention to what we have,” he told me. “When we are transporting the stuff. “They’ve probably been here before.”
Surveillance video from inside the business shows three males in hoods bashing their way in through a high-impact glass door shortly before 4 a.m. Thursday.
“(They) busted in, alarm went off, hit the alarm, 90 second cleared rack,” Quintana went on. “Thirty seconds later the cops showed up.”
The robbers opted for the most expensive merchandise, loading their bins with hundreds of pieces.
“A few Gallery Department shirts, there were some Crime Hearts, Valley Supreme,” Quintana told reporters. “(They are) $200, $250 dollars an item.”
Just a month ago, criminals smashed into another streetwear store, Stepped on Kicks, in Pembroke Pines, using the same method.
“They’re definitely watching to see what we’re doing,” Quintana said.
The small company owner is now working with the Pembroke Pines store and authorities to bring the burglars to justice before they strike again.
“I just feel disrespected,” Quintana explained.
