MIAMI – Inter Miami CF’s future home, Miami Freedom Park, is rapidly taking shape as crews push to complete the stadium in time for the club’s spring 2026 season.
The ambitious 134-acre development is not just a stadium—it’s envisioned as a destination. On Tuesday, designers gave 7News an exclusive update on the project’s progress and features.
“It’s not like building a condo tower where it’s rinse and repeat. Every space has to be uniquely designed and built,” said Graham Oxley, vice president of the park.
Stadium Details
- Capacity: 25,000 fans
- Design: A fully enclosed “continuous bowl” stadium topped with a canopy designed to maximize crowd noise and enhance the atmosphere.
- Current progress: The field is about 50% complete, with seating structures and support facilities already taking shape.
- Luxury suites: Located at field level beneath the seats, these premium areas are already being sold to season ticket holders, with prices starting at $70,000 per season.
At the Inter Miami Experience Center in Wynwood, fans can preview these suites—including sample menus and seating—before making a purchase.
Beyond Soccer
The stadium isn’t just for soccer matches. It’s being designed as a multi-use venue for concerts and major events.
A central feature of the complex is a 58-acre public park, complete with:
- Retail shops
- Dining options
- Open athletic fields
This area will be open to the public daily, offering a year-round community space alongside the main sports facility.
With construction progressing steadily, Miami Freedom Park is poised to become one of the region’s premier entertainment and recreation hubs.
