According to the Sutter Creek Police Department, a father was detained on Monday night after driving drunk with his daughter inside.

Around 9 p.m., SCPD responded to a town site for a report of a single vehicle collision. When authorities arrived at the site, they discovered a Pine Grove man driving under the influence of alcohol.

Because his daughter was in the car at the time, SCPD stated he was detained on suspicion of DUI and child endangerment.
