87K Fentanyl Pills Confiscated in Tacoma; Police Say Part of Drug Trafficking Organization
Tacoma, WA: A man described as a “significant narcotics trafficker” was apprehended by Tacoma Police, who subsequently confiscated a sizable amount of illicit substances.
As they were making their way to Tacoma on February 16th, the suspect was apprehended by the police. The drugs were allegedly acquired from the cartel, which was supposedly based in Mexico, according to the authorities. Cartels are said to be associated with the suspect.
An estimated 550,000 worth of methamphetamine, fentanyl tablets, brown tar heroin, and about half a pound of the drug were found and confiscated after the suspect was apprehended and a warrant was executed at their residence.
A weapon containing “armor-piercing bullets,” frequently referred to as “cop-killer bullets,” was also seized by law authorities. Two guns that were allegedly stolen were among four other firearms discovered at the suspect’s residence.
