8 Car Power Tools Robberies; Serial Robbers On Radar of Chicago Police Department

Chicago: Authorities in Chicago are currently looking into a series of vehicle thefts that took place on the Northwest Side last week.

According to authorities, the culprits would arrive at their intended destinations in a white SUV before forcibly entering cargo or work vans. The thieves then stole power tools from inside and quickly escaped.

The dates and locations of the robberies are-

Between Jan. 25 and Jan. 26-

  • 5400 block of North Kimball Avenue.
  • 4900 block of North Springfield Avenue.
  • 4700 block of North Kenneth Avenue.

On Jan. 26 –

  • 5500 block of North Bernard Street on Jan. 26 at 3 a.m.
  • 4600 block of North Elston Avenue on Jan. 26 at 3:20 a.m.
  • 5100 block of North Springfield Avenue on Jan. 26 at 3:54 a.m.
  • 5400 block of North Bernard Street on Jan. 26 at 4:30 a.m.
  • 4500 block of North Avers Avenue on Jan. 26 at 5:50 a.m. 

According to Chicago police, two Hispanic males are believed to be the offenders.
