4 Arrested by CHP during Retail Theft Crackdown in Los Angeles, Lego Sets Recovered worth over $300K

Los Angeles, CA: The California Highway Patrol seized Lego sets worth over $300K during a retail theft crackdown operation across Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

According to a press statement from the California Highway Patrol, they found retail theft items when they served search warrants at four locations in Orange and Los Angeles counties on Tuesday.

The authorities arrested the following individuals during the crackdown:

  • Jeremy Johnson, 44, of Orange
  • Marta Hardt, 39, of Huntington Beach
  • Chung-Pei Yu, 47, of Studio City
  • Shen Li, 35, of Brea

Retail Theft has become a major problem for businesses across Los Angeles and other counties across California. Many businesses have already closed their stores as they were constantly targeted by robbers.

It is not clear what charges have been filed against the arrested individuals as per KTLA.
