3000 Fentanyl Pills & Assault Rifles Confiscated After Drug Bust in Prince George County
Prince George’s County, MD: Following a gang investigation, three individuals were apprehended by the Prince George’s County Police on Thursday.
The authorities also confiscated more than 3000 Fentanyl pills and weapons. The weapons include assault rifles and many AK-47.
At an apartment on Avebury Drive in Laurel, police executed a search warrant and allegedly found 300 fentanyl pills among other evidence. Subsequently, the AK-47 and three thousand fentanyl tablets were found in two suspect vehicles, according to a different search warrant.
The arrested individuals are:
- Dream Edwards, 26, of Columbia, Maryland.
- Romel Johnson, 22, of Laurel.
- Michael Jordan Thompson, 34, of Washington, D.C.
There were a total of five guns confiscated; one of them had a clip that made it fully automatic when fired; the other two were AK-47s.
According to the police, they also found over $5,000 in cash, 45 grams of crack cocaine, and five pounds of marijuana.
The authorities have not disclosed the amount of the bond set for the release. They are presently detained at the Prince George’s County Jail.
